What separates Mac and Windows here is that Mac OS performs all actual color management transforms on OS level. It's called by the application, but executed by the OS.
Windows, by contrast, leaves it all to the application and steps back. It makes profiles available as applications request them, but doesn't do anything with them. The application converts, with application code.
The Mac model is fine as long as it works, but it introduces an extra level where bugs can happen. And they do.
So whatever ColorNavigator bug is there, it apparently doesn't get to do much damage in Windows, but on Mac it's enough to trip the whole thing up.
Mac/Eizo users might want to see if there's an Eizo forum for ColorNavigator, and see what feedback they get there. I can't do it, since I'm on Windows and can't reproduce it.

Ik kan een nieuwe niet eerder geregistreerde Adobe CS6 Master Collection voor MAC kopen. Heb echter een Windows versie nodig.
De verkoper beweert dat ik na registratie op mijn Adobeaccount gewoon naar de Adobe chat support kan gaan en dat ze daar dan het platform kunnen wijzigen.
Is dat correct? Zo ja, kan iemand mij dan svp tevens de exacte procedure beschrijven?
Moet ik dan eerst registreren en dan pas installeren na wijziging van het platform?

I'm currently installing it, it's listed as Captivate 2017 in the install window, so I don't think it will overwrite anything. I can let you know once install is complete.
There is currently no ability to determine if anything different can be tried as you have not indicated what has been tried already aside from trying to install a single product. Here is a link that has information concerning 207 and other errors.

What is your exact version of InDesign on what OS ?
Is your plugin scriptable?
Three possible solutions I see, but cannot test:
1. Do the script in step 3 as a startup script that will only run, if you do the script in step 1.
Or do it as startup script without dependency to step 1 if you want to launch it every time InDesign is started by the user.
My assumption here is, that a startup script has to wait until InDesign is ready to do something.
2. Add an idle task and attach an event listener for "idleEvent" that could show when InDesign is ready.
See property sleep of idleTasks. E.g.: app.idleTasks.add({sleep : 1000});
3. Try to do something with your plugin by using one of its menu commands with step 3.
You could perhaps check if a menu command of the plugin is ready. And try again after a certain amount of time if it's not ready…
Perhaps $.sleep(n) will give the plugin enough time to load. Where n is the number of milliseconds to wait.

Danke für Antwort, Katalog repariert, leider erscheint dasselbe Fenster (Dateien können importiert werden) dann nach Ja/Nein schliesst Elements Organizer wieder.
Auch neuer Katalog bringt nichts.
Editor startet normal, von dort in den Organizer = Absturz wie oben beschrieben.
Auch Umbenennung der beiden Dateien psa.prf und Status.dat mit OLD bringt nichts, leider.
Das besagte Fenster darf nicht erscheinen, aber wie mache ich das? Neuinstallation brachte auch nichts...
Bis jetzt kann ich Elements Organizer nicht mehr nutzen und Adobe gibt für 14 unbegreiflich keinen Support!

... And what if they change the number from 4 to 2? Should it delete all 4 pages and add new ones? Delete just the last 2? The first 2? etc.
For some reason, Adobe CC won't launch from the "Sign in" screen. When I try to launch a CC app, the "Sign in required" screen pops up, then when I click "Sign In" in the bottom right, it says "Thank You" and "Creative Cloud will now be licensed for (etc.)," then when I click continue, it goes back to the "Sign in required" screen and it all starts again! Cheers.
